Obedience
You and your dog can have a much happier and more rewarding life together with some basic obedience training.  Dogs need a "job" to do.  Because most dogs are pets and not working dogs, they become bored and make up their own jobs.  Unfortunately, this can lead to destructive behavior and include "redesigning" your furniture, walls, doors, carpet, or anything else they can find.

A good thing to keep in mind is that a tired dog is a good dog.  Dogs who are exercised regularly are much less likely to become destructive or otherwise misbehave.

Along with regular exercise, it is also a great idea start obedience training by taking your young puppy to puppy classes to be sure that he is socialized well.  For older dogs, we highly recommend taking them to at least a beginner obedience class.  We recommend either Red River Obedience Training Club in Shreveport or Oak Grove Training Center in Haughton.
Do you wish your dog was more like this...
...than this?  You should enroll your dog in obedience class!
Do you have a sweet dog?  Do you have an extra hour a week to make a difference in someone's life?
